~Personal gain~
Saw this in FB.... Humans are the only species on earth that kills members of the same species for personal gain.....
As for Lions too.... Lions, because they will kill others offspring to have their offspring..... Personal gain. (Territorial creatures. And right about any other aggressive male fighting for his mate.)
That's true to some extent, but for these creatures, it is programmed and systematic. Humans kill if we want to, and as we want to. You don't see that in other species. we don't see a lion mauling its young at random moments nor do you see mountain gorillas doing selective killing. I think to make the premise clearer, "humans are the only species on earth that murders its own kind for personal gain/self-interest"
